Feel the pulse of a deeply immersive drumming circle
Where shared rhythm becomes a pathway to connection, nervous system regulation, presence and emotional release.
Drumming can be joyful, meditative, enlivening, grounding, uplifting and deeply regulating. Whether you’re feeling lively and ready to let off steam, or in need of grounding and reconnection, the circle offers a welcoming space to arrive exactly as you are.
Through conscious breathwork (supporting the parasympathetic nervous system), mindfulness, rhythm and play, we explore the therapeutic power of the drum in a supportive, welcoming community setting.
Open to all - no musical experience needed, beginners very welcome.. There are no complicated rhythms to master, and no spotlight.
The circle is designed to be inclusive, supportive, and easy to access. This is not about performance; it’s about presence and meaningful connection. We create together through gentle, easy improvisation and play.
All instruments are provided; however, you are also welcome to bring your own frame drum and beater if you wish.

What to expect
We’ll begin gently - arriving through breath and body awareness, and simple rhythm exercises, before getting to know the drums and easing into playful games to relax and get the laughter flowing.
Using frame drums, beaters and simple percussion instruments, we’ll explore beat, groove, listening, and improvisation as a group in a way that is accessible, energising, and deeply connecting. Expect a blend of guided techniques, improvisation, listening, and spaciousness — with plenty of room for laughter, expression, and flow.
We will build energy together through improvisation created in the moment — listening, layering, and finding groove as a group.
As the circle unfolds, a grounded, calm energy begins to build, deepening into body, mind, and soul — and opening into greater expression, release, and connection.
